Women's Recovery Services

Description: Women's Recovery Services believes addiction is a treatable, physical, emotional, and

spiritual illness.  Abstinence is the primary goal of treatment and we believe it serves as the foundation for

successful long-term recovery. Women's Recovery Services also addresses the needs of the women and

their children ages (0-12). Addiction is a family disease and treating the whole family contributes to a

woman's successful recovery.

Residential Program


The residential program lasts for 120 days. It allows mothers and their children to live together while the

mother is working through the drug treatment program. During the stay, women will receive,

comprehensive substance dependence education, ​parenting education, evidence based groups on

self-esteem, trauma, 
relationships, and non-violent communication. After 120 days, women will

​participate in Aftercare for 1 year.

Transitional Homes

Women's Recovery Services offers transitional housing for women and up to 2 children (ages 0-12). The

homes provide "training-wheels" while the women start to apply the new skills they learned in the

Residential Program. Women are given weekly support one-on-one management meeting with a house

manager and weekly on-site parenting counseling. Women may live in these homes for up to 2 years.

Children's Program

Children will live with their mothers throughout her treatment. School-aged children will attend the

neighborhood school. The Women's Recovery Services Children's Program embraces art and play therapies

so kids can learn to be kids again.
